I agree besides 2 things Ice is top tier for grinding in first sea it should be in the highest tier I agree that shadow is really good for grinding but I'd put it in the store section it is worth a buddha so if you get it I'd rather keep it and trade it in second for buddha, I wouldn't eat it either because ice magma and light are way better for grinding and are much less value.

No, not sure why you would need a dye. I have never heard of even using a dye with smoke and I've been using smoke machines for 20 years. If you are using a homemade or cheapie version, all bets are off. My Redline is capable of finding the smallest of leaks.

If you want to make a chimney you could try 4 iron doors around the hole. Smoke goes up through the opening and mobs can’t get through or over the doors I don’t think. Evap smoke machines also use compressed air to pressurize the systems to a very low psi (less than 10 usually around 5-7psi) without that pressure you're not likely to find any leaks short of giant holes or completely unhooked lines. Also baby oil, just baby oil nothing else. It's cheap, makes great smoke, smells nice and doesn't cause any residue.
